The Vortex Diamondback HD 12x50are designed for long-distance observations requiring more power. Their 12xmagnification allows for precise distinction of distant bird details, while their large 50 mmobjective lenses ensure excellent light gathering. Their field of view reaches 271 ft at 1,000 yards (5.2°).
The HDoptical system uses selected glass elements to improve resolution, reduce chromatic aberrations, and render natural colors. Fully multi-coated lenses, dielectric prism coatings, and phase correction all contribute to producing a sharp, bright, and high-contrast image.
Despite their high magnification, the Diamondback HD 12x50 maintain a reasonable weight of approximately 814 g. Their waterproof and argon-purged construction limits internal fogging, while the ArmorTek®coating protects the outer lenses. Their tripodcompatibility is particularly useful for stabilizing the image during extended 12x observations.
