Golden safflower bell

These bells contain 100% golden safflower. Excellent for not attracting squirrels, as squirrels generally do not like safflower.

The seed is preferred by cardinals, finches, and several others. Grackles, sparrows, and starlings generally do not like safflower.

Golden safflower has a 40% thinner hull than traditional safflower, making it easier to eat and thus attracting a wider variety of birds than white safflower. It contains 15% more oil, 25% more protein, and provides 30% more energy. Preliminary studies indicate a 2-to-1 preference over white safflower.
