Golden Safflower Square (Large)

Large size: not suitable for small suet cages. Can be used in a large suet cage or a tray feeder. 708g.

Attracts a variety of birds (cardinals, chickadees, and finches) and is an excellent source of energy.

Does not attract squirrels.

Golden safflower has a shell that is 40% thinner than traditional safflower, making it easier to eat and thus attracting a wider variety of birds than white safflower. It contains 15% more oil, 25% more protein, and provides 30% more energy. Preliminary studies indicate a 2-to-1 preference over white safflower.
