The Humm-Yumm feeder provides hummingbirds with a natural and diversified food source. Simply place fruit (or fruit scraps) in the feeder's lower reservoir and nectar in the upper part. Fermentation will attract fruit flies, which are rich in protein and essential for hummingbirds, especially during breeding season. Adult hummingbirds need to feed their young protein and nectar every 20 minutes and can eat more than 100 fruit flies a day!
