These mini hummingbird feeders can be used as a complement to your usual hummingbird feeder, scattered all over the yard. You can even hold them in your hands and try to feed hummingbirds this way! If you choose this latter option, here are some tips:

• Start by placing your nectar button near your regular feeder and wait for the hummingbird to start using it.
  
• Then, stand near your feeder and hold your nectar button in your hand.
  
You can also wear sunglasses to hide your eye movements.

Before using your nectar button, please wash it with mild soap and rinse thoroughly. Clean your nectar button after each use.

To make your own nectar, you can boil 4 parts water with 1 part white sugar, then wait for the solution to cool. You can store the nectar for up to 7 days in the refrigerator.
