The Vortex Razor HD 12x50are designed to provide a high level of detail for long-range observations. Their powerful 12xmagnification, combined with 50mmobjective lenses, allows for precise examination of distant birds while benefiting from good light gathering. Their field of view reaches 285 ft at 1,000 yards (5.4°).
The HDoptical system uses selected glass elements to provide excellent resolution, reduce chromatic aberrations, and accurately render colors. The APOsystem contributes to color correction across the entire visible spectrum, while XR™ Plusanti-reflective coatings maximize light transmission to produce a clear and detailed image.
Weighing approximately 814 g, the Razor HD 12x50 combine a magnesium chassis with the True Open Hingedesign to offer robustness and ergonomics without unnecessarily weighing down the binoculars. They are argon-purged and sealed to resist water and fogging, while the ArmorTek®coating protects the outer lenses. They are also tripod-adaptable, a particularly interesting feature for long periods of observation at high magnification.
