The directory of ornamental trees and shrubs lists 1,760 species and varieties of plants found in Quebec. It is an accessible reference work for both horticulture enthusiasts and industry specialists.
Would you like to learn more about a particular tree?
Consult the corresponding entry to find all the answers to your questions: the color of its leaves in summer or fall, the color of its flowers, its growth rate, its resistance to diseases or road salt, and even its appeal to birds. And since you will also know its root system and mature size, you will not be caught off guard. You will be able to anticipate any risks it may pose to your garden, your home, or Hydro-Québec's power distribution network.
Many experienced specialists contributed to the development of this directory. They pooled their knowledge to ensure that it is easy to use, comprehensive, and practical. To this end, they closely examined the characteristics and behavior of each species observed in Quebec's various regions.
Now it's your turn to put your knowledge to the test!
