Squirrel Buster Finch

The Squirrel Buster^MD Finch squirrel-proof feeder is specifically designed to hold thistle seed. Finches love it, as do a variety of other birds. It has the same proportions as the Squirrel Buster^MD Classic, but has 8 feeding ports and can hold up to 2.4 lb (1.08 kg) of food.

TRULY SQUIRREL PROOF: All feeder components exposed to squirrels are made of chew-proof materials.
The openings in the shroud align with the feeding ports, allowing birds to feed. When a squirrel climbs onto the feeder, its weight automatically lowers the shroud, closing the feeding ports. The feeder thwarts squirrels and some large birds without ever harming them.
N.B.: If a squirrel can reach the feeder from a nearby resting point and avoid putting its weight on the feeder, it may be able to access the seeds. To solve this problem, provide at least 18 inches (47 cm) of clear space around the feeder. This will force the squirrel to climb onto the feeder and trigger the closing mechanism.

EASY CARE: Squirrel Buster feeders are designed to be dismantled by hand, without tools, into individual components. This makes them easy to clean and maintain. Detachable parts are dishwasher-safe.

FOOD VENTILATION: Transparent feeder silos trap the sun’s energy. While conventional feeders block hot air from escaping, our patented feed tube ventilation system evacuates moisture and hot air through openings at the top of the feeder and replaces it with fresh air. This keeps the food fresh, which attracts more birds.

SEED LEVEL INDICATOR: The bottom of the yellow cap indicates the maximum seed level. Filling the feeder beyond this line affects the operation of the shroud. Avoid this.

FOR PERCHING AND CLINGING BIRDS: The feeding ports have perches for perching birds, while the shroud's mesh provides a surface suitable for clinging birds. This encourages greater bird activity at the feeder.

UV RESISTANT: All components are UV resistant.

LIFETIME WARRANTY: Replacement parts are available free of charge in stores or can be ordered directly from the supplier.

EXCLUSION: This feeder does NOT deter grackles, starlings, young red, Douglas and large flying squirrels, chipmunks, opossums, bears, deer, or raccoons. Please bring your feeder indoors at night to prevent nocturnal animals from emptying or destroying it.
