TRULY SQUIRREL-PROOF: All feeder components exposed to squirrels are made of chew-proof materials.
The openings in the shroud are aligned with the feeding ports, allowing birds to feed. When a squirrel climbs onto the feeder, its weight automatically lowers the shroud, closing off the feeding ports. This prevents squirrels and some large birds from accessing the food without harming them.
N.B.: If a squirrel can reach the feeder from a nearby support point and avoid placing its weight on the feeder, it may be able to access the seeds. To solve this problem, provide a clear space of at least 18 inches (47 cm) around the feeder. This will force the squirrel to climb onto the feeder and trigger the closing mechanism.
EASY TO CLEAN: Squirrel Buster feeders are designed to be disassembled by hand, without tools, into individual components. This facilitates both cleaning and maintenance. Detachable parts can be washed in the dishwasher.
FOOD VENTILATION: The clear silos of the feeders trap the sun's energy. While conventional feeders block the escape of hot air, our patented feeding tube ventilation system expels moisture and hot air through openings at the top of the feeder and replaces it with fresh air. This keeps the food fresh, which attracts more birds.
WEIGHT ADJUSTABLE: Our patented adjustable spring mechanism controls the weight the shroud supports to allow birds to feed. Any excess weight activates the closing mechanism.
ADJUSTABLE PERCHES: The perches are strong and have a textured surface that provides birds with a good grip. Attract small birds like chickadees and finches (while deterring larger birds like grackles and starlings) by adjusting the length of the perches.
CARDINAL RING: The Squirrel Buster Plus feeder can be used with or without the Cardinal Ring. This Cardinal Ring is designed to specifically attract cardinals. Cardinals prefer to grip a textured perch. Also, because they have short necks, it is difficult for them to turn their heads to feed. They therefore prefer to face their food source. The Cardinal Ring allows them to feed face-on from a sturdy and comfortable perch. Using the Cardinal Ring in a shaded area makes the Squirrel Buster Plus feeder particularly attractive to cardinals.

Meilleure mangeoire que j'ai eue à vie! Elle m'a duré plusieurs années, plusieurs déménagements Très facile à nettoyer et très solide! Je dois m'en racheter une autre parce que aussi solide soit-elle, l'ours qui l'a visité hier lui a quand même fait la passe hahaha Il y a une fonction pour ne permettre qu'aux petits oiseaux de se nourrir, facile à ajuster, ça fonctionne par le poids. Moi j'aime les gros oiseaux aussi et ça fonctionne, quand on l'ajuste au plus lourd, les geais et les tourterelles s'y nourrissent sans problème. Très bien fait! (mais bon pour l'ours ça n'a rien changé mais c'est pas la faute de la mangeoire huhu)

J’ai acheté cette magnifique mangeoire pcq j’avais des Quiscale bronzés (gros oiseaux noirs) qui chassait les petits oiseaux. J’ai installé la mangeoire hier et ce matin quelques un ont fait quelques tentatives et maintenant c’est le calme plat, plus de Quiscale !!! ???? Elle est tout simplement extraordinaire bien fait solide facile à ajuster facile à démonter et il très bien expliqué comme elle fonctionne je sais qu’elle n’est pas donné mais elle en vaut vraiment le prix. Le vendeur chez Nature Expert me disait que des clients en possèdent une depuis dix ans donc très bon investissement. Merci Nature Expert.

Je suis ravie de cet achat, je l'ai depuis 2 ans et elle est parfaite. Les écureuils et gros oiseaux comprennent vite que la nourriture est inaccessible pour eux, et n'y reviennent pas. De plus, elle contient une grande quantité de grains, alors moins souvent besoin de la remplir. Et les grains restent bien au sec. 100% satisfaction pour moi.

Tout simplement parfaite! Après plusieurs années à acheter différentes mangeoires qui au bout du compte , soient elles se brisaient, soient les écureuils réussissaient quand même à se nourrir! Elle est chère mais elle en vaut la peine! J' ai acheté aussi le dôme anti-intempéries et le poteau aussi. Après un premier hiver , les écureuils n' essaient même pas de grimper!!! J' habite en plus à côté d' une forêt de 65 hectares. Un investissement pour la vie! Facile à nettoyer en plus!

La meilleure mangeoire qu’on n’ait jamais eue! Solide. Bien faite. Ajustable. On a trouvé facilement l’ajustement idéal pour nourrir les geais bleus et en même temps frustrer les écureuils et les gros oiseaux noirs. Elle se nettoie bien et elle est faite pour durer. Tellement satisfaits qu’on oublie vite qu’elle a coûté un peu plus cher que les - nombreuses- autres que nous avons eues. Nous la recommandons.

Je viens dans commander une deuxième. J'ai acheté la première au printemps 2017. Elle fonctionne toujours bien, les écureuils ne s'en pré-occupent plus et elle a gardé une belle apparence malgré le fait que les écureuils ont tenté de la ronger

La mangeoire parfaite. Aucun écureuil n'a réussi à y manger depuis 1 an, et ce n 'est pas faute d'avoir essayé, croyez-moi! Elle est un peu chère, mais de construction solide, puisque les écureuils, frustrés de ne pas pouvoir s'y nourrir, on grugé la corde de nylon à laquelle je l'avais suspendue, et la mangeoire est tombée d'une hauteur d'environ 20 pieds, sans dommages. J'ai donc changé ma corde pour une corde de corde à linge, et voilà! Comme elle contient beaucoup, pas besoin de la remplir trop souvent. Je l'adore!
