TRULY SQUIRREL PROOF: All feeder components exposed to squirrels are made of chew-proof materials.
The openings in the shroud align with the feeding ports, allowing birds to feed. When a squirrel climbs onto the feeder, its weight automatically lowers the shroud, closing off the feeding ports. This way, the feeder thwarts squirrels and certain large birds, without ever harming them.
N.B.: The Squirrel Buster Plus feeder is squirrel-proof, but the tray attached to the pole remains accessible to some squirrels. To prevent it from being used as a foothold to access the feeder, allow at least 18 inches (47 cm) of clear space around the feeder. This will force the squirrel to climb onto the feeder and trigger the closing mechanism.

EASY TO MAINTAIN : Squirrel Buster feeders are designed to be disassembled by hand, without tools, into individual components. This makes cleaning and maintenance easy. Detachable parts can be washed in the dishwasher.
The tray is in two parts, easy to disassemble and clean. Drain holes keep seeds dry.

FOOD VENTILATION : The transparent silos of the feeders trap the sun's energy. While conventional feeders block hot air from escaping, our patented feed tube ventilation system evacuates moisture and hot air through openings at the top of the feeder and replaces it with fresh air. This keeps the food fresh, which attracts more birds.

ADJUSTABLE BY WEIGHT : Our patented adjustable spring mechanism controls the weight the shroud supports to allow birds to feed. Any excess weight activates the closing mechanism.
