This squirrel-resistant suet cage is made entirely of metal with a coating to protect it from rust.
The feeder is not accessible to squirrels or large birds.
It can hold two suet cakes or 2 grain squares.
A metal plate, to be installed at the bottom of the inner cage, is provided to prevent large birds from accessing the suet by clinging underneath the cage.
The holes in the outer cage measure 3.8 cm (1.5") in width and height. The holes in the inner cage measure 1.27 cm (0.5") in width and height.
This cage is effective against gray and black squirrels but not against red squirrels or chipmunks.
