Coatings and Prisms

The UpClose G2 features two roof prisms, each paired with an auxiliary prism. Roof prisms create a straight line between the eyepiece and objective, making the binoculars more compact, perfect for slipping into a jacket pocket or handbag. The roof prisms are made of BK-7 optical glass, offering high reflectivity, allowing more light to reach your eye.

The Body

On the trails or in a crowded stadium, you want binoculars that are comfortable to hold for long periods, without fear of shocks or drops. The UpClose G2 features a lightweight and durable chassis, protected by a sturdy rubber-coated exterior to withstand harsh conditions. The UpClose G2 are also water-resistant.

Observation with the UpClose G2 is comfortable, whether you wear glasses or not, thanks to their rubber eyecups. Keep the eyecups raised for correct eye positioning without glasses. If you wear glasses, simply fold them down.
