Its variable magnification from 20 to 60xallows you to locate a subject at low power and then gradually increase the magnification to appreciate the details, while its large 85 mmobjective lens ensures excellent light gathering.
The HDoptical system uses selected glass elements to provide excellent resolution, reduce chromatic aberrations, and accurately reproduce colors. XR™ Plusanti-reflective coatings maximize light transmission, while dielectric coatings applied to the prisms help produce a clear, bright, and color-accurate image.
Designed for intensive field use, the Viper HD features a rubber armor, argon purging, and a waterproof and fogproof construction. The ArmorTek®coating protects the outer lens surfaces from scratches, oils, and dirt. Its angled design improves comfort during prolonged observations on a tripod, while its Arca-Swisscompatibility allows for direct attachment to compatible tripod heads without an additional plate.
