These bells contain 100% golden safflower. Excellent
for squirrel prone areas, as squirrels generally don’t like safflower.
The seed is preferred by cardinals, grosbeaks, House
Finch and more, while grackles, sparrows and starlings generally don’t like
safflower.
Golden safflower has a shell 40% thinner than traditional safflower. It is easier to eat and therefore attracts a greater variety of birds than white safflower. It contains 15% more oil, 25% more protein and provides 30% more energy. Preliminary studies indicate a 2: 1 preference over white safflower.
No waste, no mess, never melt.
Great for year-round bird feeding.
Comes with a built-in rope to hang it or can be put in a platform feeder or in the Birdie Bell metal hanger.
